What is Omaha AEYC?

Omaha Association for the Education of Young Children (AEYC) is a local chapter of the Nebraska AEYC.  The chapter started in 1959.

 

The mission of Omaha AEYC is:

To support early childhood professionals in advancing, advocating,
and promoting healthy developmentand learning for young children. 
​

This mission is accomplished by setting goals in four key areas:

• Advocacy: Advocate for best practices in the early childhood field;

• Membership: Increase membership and recognize professionalism & quality in the early childhood field;

• Professional Development: Increase the quality of care in early childhood programs; and

• Technology: Develop a strong online presence.
